The year 1 data were taken almost entirely over the period August-November 2013 and the year 2 data were taken over the period August-December 2014. The exact dates of the observations are given in Table 1 of Franzen et al. (2021). The combined year 1 and 2 mosaics have the best sensitivity and should be used if you are not concerned about the observing epoch. In each case, a total of 17 mosaics are provided: - a wide-band mosaic at 200-231 MHz - 16 7.68-MHz sub-band mosaics spanning 103-231 MHz The wide-band mosaic has the best sensitivity and resolution. The sub-band mosaics provide additional spectral information. The rms, background and local PSF maps associated with each mosaic are provided in the tarball files. # -------- GLEAM SGP catalogue -------- 1) GLEAM_SGP_catalogue.fits The GLEAM SGP catalogue is based on the GLEAM SGP combined year 1 and 2 mosaics as well as additional GLEAM Exgal mosaics (Hurley-Walker et al. 2017) below 100 MHz. The catalogue contains 108,851 source components detected above 5 sigma in the GLEAM SGP wide-band mosaic centred at 216 MHz. It includes the following information: - the position, integrated flux density and shape of each source in the GLEAM SGP wide-band mosaic - the integrated flux density and shape of each source in the 16 GLEAM SGP sub-band mosaics between 107 and 227 MHz - the integrated flux density and shape of each source in the 4 GLEAM Exgal sub-band mosaics between 76 and 99 MHz - the local PSF at the location of each source in the wide-band and sub-band mosaics - the spectral index between 76 and 227 MHz measured from the sub-band flux densities A description of the 313 columns of the catalogue can be found here; https://data-portal.hpc.swin.edu.au/dataset/e443fff1-284a-4c8b-b8e7-0e1a8ec18e25/resource/81968b16-ac7d-432c-b22d-c881341f1cc2/download/cataloguecolumnsdescription.pdf 2) completeness_maps.tgz FITS cubes tracing the spatial variation of the completeness of the GLEAM SGP catalogue at 216 MHz at various flux density levels: - 15-50 mJy in steps of 2.5 mJy - 55-100 mJy in steps of 5 mJy - 120-300 mJy in steps of 20 mJy Details on how the completeness maps were generated can be found in section 4.3 of Franzen et al. (2021).
